I was wondering what was keeping the latest BMI DVD, but I came across some bad news.

Quote from the BMI website
Quote
NOTICE REGARDING DVD RELEASE SCHEDULE AND NEW PLANS
Thank you for being an avid viewer of Best Motoring International and Hot Version International DVDs.

This notice is to announce from 2006, BMI and HVI will stop bi-monthly regular releases of its DVD magazines.

From hereon we will release DVDs on an irregular basis. Our next DVD release, Hot Version International/American Touge 2 is scheduledfor the spring of 2006.

To provide fresh content to our viewers, we are working to launch anew website within the 1st quarter of 2006. Our plan is to provide these contents via online, free of charge to reach our fans across the globe. As above mentioned we will still release English version DVDs, but DVDs alone will no longer be the only outlet for our videos. It is not the only reason but we cannot deny that piracy (illegal downloading & illegal copying of our videos) has been somewhat a factor in making our decision. The biggest reason for this shift is that the internet is changing the way we all collect information. We must also adapt to the times. We will shift our
business focus from DVDs to the internet but will not stray from our goals of providing cutting edge automotive video to our viewers.

UPDATE

Quote
American Touge 2 : February DVD Production Update
Video producers are now making the final touches to AT2. The next Hot Version International AT2 DVD will have 90 minutes of touge action from Horse Thief Mile. Actually this is even longer than the JDM Hot Version video. While the International version usually gets less, now we have MORE. We are right on schedule and the DVD will be on sale at the end of March, 2006.

Finally there will be another DVD available again soon

BMI Vol.19 Contents Revealed!
NEXT BMI DVD CONTENTS REVEALED!
Best Motoring International Vol.19
US VS. JAPAN DRIFT OFF
Release Scheduled for End of July, 2006

US VS. JAPAN DRIFT OFF
US drift stars, Ken Gushi and Rhys Millen challenge 2005 D1 Champion Yasuyuki Kazama for a drift battle. Ken even shows up with his 500hp Ford Mustang he competes in Formula D, but hold on kid. To make all conditions equal, all three must drive the same car, a COMPLETELY stock Mazda MX-5 Roadster. You know who?s really good when they can turn a stock vehicle sideways. After the battle, Keiichi and Kazama take Ken?s Mustang for spin. Also featuring model/drifter Verena Mei.

M5 MERCY!
What?s got a V10 with a 7 speed SMG and has 507hps? A Super GT500 racing car? Wrong! It?s the BMW M5. We gathered the best from around the world to see which car is up to par with this speed machine from BMW. The Nismo R34 GT-R Z Tune, 911 Carrera S, Lambo Gallardo and M3 CSL go up against the M5 at Tsukuba.

SOLSTICE SPORTS FR
We don?t care how many of these cars Donald Trump sold in ?The Apprentice? last year. Road & Track International Editor Sam Mitani invites the BMI crew to Streets of Willow to test GM?s new sports FR. Keiichi Tsuchiya was in for a surprise!

LIFE IN THE FAST LANE
We followed JDM superstars Max Orido and Nob Taniguchi to GTLIVE at Phoenix. Drift demos, Grand Am racing, time attacks and lots of happenings! Take a peak at their life in the fast lane.

Another new BMI DVD is being released shortly

Nissan GT-R Loaded

Quote
This is the best sports car out of Japan ever and Best Motoring International is going to give it what it deserves; an action packed DVD all on the GT-R. First BMI takes the GT-R to test it against some of its rival cars, the Porsche 911 Turbo, 911 GT3, Gallardo Superleggera and NSX Type R. Only Best Motoring is able to gather the best of the world and pit it against the GT-R. Then Gan-san takes it for a ride to give his expert impressions followed by an interview of Kazutoshi Mizuno, the GT-R's Cheif Engineer. Then Keiichi "Drift King" Tsuchiya takes it around Tsukuba on a time attack and also conducts his voluntary drift check. Finally the Mine's R35 GT-R takes the stage as one of the first modified GT-Rs This DVD cannot be missed.
