Hello..Noobster Here From Oregon!
« on: July 07, 2007, 10:22:17 am »
Hello..My name is Bernard and Im 36 yrs old O.G. here still learnin new stuff all the time!..I live in the Vancouver,Wa/Portland metropolitan area..I've owned Honda's since 1996 and I love them!..When I did'nt have a Honda in life at time's, I alway's missed them and found a way to buy another one, another, then another, you how that story goes.. 3 Honda project's later lol..

I currently drive a 92 DA integra & 90 crx si as my commuter's..My 90 civic si hatch is currently down as my project car and is my all-time favorite Honda for real!..This is my second 90 SI hatch, and I found it about a year ago..I bought It from this Farmer/Rodeo Guy that was really cool..I saw the car one day on the side of the road with a for sale sign driving thru the back road's in the country on the way home..I reversed and parked and checked it out..It was really dirty outside the car and the interior looked like it had been neglected for year's!..I thought to myself, "What a shame..Dang this is an Si! It need's to be saved and go to a good home!"..So I called the number on the sign & long story short...It was mine!

When I barely got it home, the head blew a gasket..From there, it has been up for maybe a month after I put a fresh B16a1 w/ lsd tranny and down again because of serious restoration thought's..The most crazyiest thing about this car is that it had "barn feed pellet's" all over the inside of the Hatch from underneath the dash all the way to the rear hatchback!..When I took the Gauge cluster out, there was "barn feed" all up in between the metal tubes and wiring! I could'nt believe it!..I had to sit in the car for like an half hour using a air-hose to blow and loosen as much barn-feed as I can and then vacuum the rest out..It was a crazy task for sure..All I could think is that when this hatch was on the previous owner's farm, there must have been alot of farm mice storing their food "barn feed" they took from the farm and into the civic hatch for the winter's food storage I guess lol..Make's perfect sense to me...

Anyway, thanx for reading my long introduction and I'm glad to be on here..I use to surf the old website a ton and finally decided to join..Great website you have here & glad to see much dedicated people on the "old skool's"..Peace

I will also add some pix's of the "barn feed" infested civic lol & other rides if that's cool..

Hasport a/c bracket so I could keep cool on those hot summer days..

Rear disc set up with skunk2 lca's and tokicko blues/skunk2 pro-series coilover's

Good old "Barn Feed" that came out of the car behind instrument cluster!

My neighbor at the work garage,He has a 92 eg..

Brand new HKS cat-back exhaust

This is when I put my single slammer ZC into my crx si

Had to switch part's from old engine to new before I could install,I kept it obd-0..

Here's my driver and favorite Integra of all-time 92 GS

Sorry for whoring on the pix's..But hope you enjoyed!

Nice looking DA, love those wheels, look perfect on that car in that color

The hatch sure does need some TLC, but looking at these pics (which we all love to see) you sure are getting there

Nice cars  was wondering what color that is on your DA, could you let me know the color code? looks like a green pearl in that fender shot.
