I bought my new EE9 yesterday and here is my vinnumber
JHMEE93800S301051
There are 40 original dutch EE9's delivered in the color Barcelona Green.
Mine's original dutch too and Barcelona Green, but the car's paper (kentekenbewijs deel 1) says that the car is black. Anyone?
Every Dutch EE9 with a G66P color has "black" listed on the registration papers as the color for that car.
Me : JHMEE8380OS302892 but I don't know how you read this number...
This means:
JHM= Japan Honda Motor Co Ltd.
EE8 / EE9= Model and type (EE8 = CRX and EE9 = CIVIC)
3= Transmission type (5 speed manual)
8= type (VTEC)
00= solid code plus an extra number
S= where the car was built (S= Suzuka japan)
2= year it was made (0=1988, 1=1989, 2=1990, 3=1991)
(VTEC only S2 or S3)
00001= Serial number of the car
